Biotrek Adventure Travels was born of a true love for travel. In 1991, I began BIOTREK so that I could share travel experiences my way, by creating tours for people who hate organized travel packages. With Biotrek you can expect adventure and discovery tailored to fit you and experiences not available to the ordinary traveler.

The tours are small, with a maximum group size of ten people. Unlike some of the larger and more commercialized tour companies, BIOTREK operates on the conviction that a true travel experience cannot be found in trips with tightly set agendas. The trips are flexible and accommodating to serve the personal interest of each member of our group. Personal involvement puts us in the very exceptional position of really knowing the sites and the local people that will give our travelers a true sense of each country we visit. The aim is not only unparalleled wildlife encounters, but also unique insight and knowledge as to the ways and workings of the land, the people, the culture and the environment.

BIOTREK ADVENTURE TRAVELS appeals mostly to people who would do this sort of travel on their own, if only they had the connections and experience as we do. These unique people want adventure, like climbing the snow and ice-covered volcanoes in Chile, yet they expect fine accommodations and good food and wine at the end of each day. Since the tours are small, Biotrek can and does accommodate all kinds of expectations, from lying on a pristine beach to horseback riding to all levels of white- water river rafting.

My total commitment and personal involvement from beginning to end is the single most commanding reason for Biotrek's successes. I feel uniquely qualified because of my world travel experiences, my enthusiasm in showing travelers what a country is really about and my background in professional photography. I look forward to finding the best and most beautiful vistas and helping clients improve their travel photos along the way.

Biotrek is a privately owned and managed company and we are travel experts in the countries that we offer to our clients. We are unique, in that, all of our tours are limited to 10 people and each destination is environmentally and culturally based with deep consideration for our client’s expectations. All trips are organized, booked and lead by Biotrek Adventure Travels.
